HARRYS FC AGM MINUTES

Minutes from the Harry's FC International AGM held on Sunday 19th April 2009

The meeting was chaired by Mick Atterbury, club manager, and started at 2pm.

The main points were as follows: -

1) Sponsorship - At this time both Rockfish/Harrys and The Centre Spot have offered to sponsor the club to the tune of $750. The preference is The Centre Spot and we are hoping to tie up this deal as soon as possible. In return they will have their name on the front of the new shirts and on the website head banner. The balance of $500 required to enter the Kings League will be covered by club funds;

2) Team Name - The club will enter both The Kings League and the Caybrew Sunday league under the name of Harry's FC International;

3) Atlantic Star - Thank you to the previous sponsor Atlantic Star;

4) Website - A big thankyou to Mike Bhojwani for the work he has done and will continue to do on the website;

5) Season Review - Manager Mick Atterbury thanked all players for their involvement in the two leagues for their hard work and successes and hopes to move forward with as many of the current players as possible. Captain Alan Glasgow pointed out that the indoor league record of W9 D1 L2 and final position of second was a complete mirror image of season 1;

6) Board elections: -
Chairman - It was agreed by concensus to retire this position
Secretary and Treasurer - Andy Holian
Club Manager - Mick Atterbury
Club Captain - Alan Glasgow with Dave Leach to understudy in Glasgow's absence

7) Youth team - Despite not doing his only duty in presenting the Youth Team player award, it was agreed that transvestite Laurence Heffernan will continue to manage the youth team;

8) Team Management - Mick Atterbury conceded that he may not be able to dedicate all his time to the indoor Kings league. It was agreed that as during the previous season, in his absence Glasgow and Holian will take responsibility for the team;

9) Training - By agreement the format of Thursday football at Cayman Prep will change. A game will be played between 5 and 6 for all who turn up. At 6 there will then be training for 30-45 minutes for the team. All attendees are welcome to join in with the training. Atterbury requested that everybody try and get there for the training as it could influence Sunday team selection;

10) Buffalo Sweats
The first round of buffalo sweats went to the AGM virgins Chris Coen, Massimo Tirotti, Chris Fenn and Richard Crozier;

11) Awards (presented by the lovely Barbara)
Goal of the Season - Alan Glasgow v Transformers in the King's Play Off match
Clubman of the Season - Dave Doherty
Player's Player of the Season - Dave Leach
Manager's Player of the Season - Gabre Dickens

Dave Doherty was also presented with a Sari by Mick Atterbury to acknoweldge that he is now a fully fledged Indian;
Laurence Heffernan was presented with a lovely pair of red stilettos by Mick Atterbury to enable him to see over the wall at Kings based upon his decision to substitute Alan Glasgow after only 90 seconds beacuse he couldn't see the clock. Rather scarily he could not only walk in these shoes, but run too!!

13) Quiz night - There will be a second Harry's FC quiz night to be held at Fidel Murphys on Thursday 4th June to be hosted by Pete Carlowe;
